6.1 - ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Being particularly complicated and
hazardous for the operator, other
maintenance operations SHOULD only be
performed by staff from an authorised
service centre.
These operations are:

Blade
replacement.
x
Sharpener grinding wheel replacement.
x
Chain
replacement.
x
Repair of structural parts, repair and/or
replacement of components located
beneath the base.
In addition to the above-mentioned cleaning
operations, you should also perform routine
maintenance in order to guarantee the
slicer’s operating efficiency over time.
The operator may perform the following
maintenance operations:

Oiling carriage guide rail (5) and
product holder (4) and lubrication
points
.
- Frequency:
Weekly.
(see clause 6.2)

Oiling chain (19) and bevel gear (20)

- Frequency: Every 6 months.
(see clause 6.4)

Blade sharpening
Sharpen the blade (16) periodically or at
least once every 6 months as described in
6.3.
How often sharpening is necessary
and how long it lasts depend on the
type of use to which the slicer is put
(operating times and processed
product).
