4. Attach the serial console cable to the serial console port. This port is
identified in the following figure.

5. From the front of the switch, press the power button. The power
button is located with the control plane LEDs. To locate the control
plane LEDs, see
. The following figure shows the exact
location of the power button in the control panel.

6. Attach the red F5 logo and front bezel.
Cabling
You can cable the client/server ports before or after the switch is connected
to the network.
Ethernet cables are customer-supplied. For cable specifications and
requirements, see Power Cord and Cable Requirements, on page 3-5. For
cable connector and pinout information, see Cable Connectors and Pinouts,
on page 3-6.
