The newly designed system architecture and a powerful warp core
technology enable high quality image corrections. The innovative
“Resolution pass-through” - technology allows an easy integration of the
device into any environment without the necessity to configure the
resolution. Extensive possibilities for color and brightness correction
allow optimal alignment of multi-channel installations. Color-shading,
alpha masks, pixel-accurate blending complement the functionality and
make the system a perfect tool for the realization of multi-channel
projections. Like the previous version openWARP ² has also over an
extremely short processing time.
With openWARP² projections can be curved or bent to almost any surface
perfectly realized. For the set of distortion, different types and interfaces
are put at disposal. In addition to the built-in functions, external
calibrations are imported. Due to this open system structure camera-
based calibration systems or automatic color corrections can be easily
integrated.
The unit also offers a real-time mode to change distortions in real time.
With this feature highly dynamic applications can be realized in which
the distortion must be adapted in real time to changed projection
conditions.
The configuration is transferred via USB to the device. With the optional
communication board an additional serial or LAN interface is provided.
