This section describes how to start up the openWARP². This includes athe
EDID Mode explanation and driver installation.
Visual Signal Inputs
The openWARP ² channels can be connected only via DVI-D with an
image source and a display (eg monitor or projector). To start up a PC an
EDID signal for automatically monitor resolution is usually necessary.
openWARP ² offers the possibility of this signal from the display loop
through (EDID pass throgh mode) or to use an EDID information to the
DID internal flash memory (internal EDID mode). The selection of the
EDID mode is done via the switch on the back of the case.
In internal mode, the EDID EDID information of the connected monitor is
not included. The hot-plug signal is generated by the device openWARP².
The EDID information has to be programmed directly with a DDC
programming device to the DVI input.
