Internal Settings
ATTENTION:
•
Use electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions (be electrically grounded) when
making connections.
•

Avoid ground potential differences between the transmitter and receiver
installation sites, which can lead to
equipment damage
or a missing or
unstable picture. If a potential difference cannot be avoided, remove the ground
connection between the units and locally power both units.

There are two internal jumpers used to configure the DTP2 ground lift and remote power.
The jumpers have the following numbering scheme and function:

NOTES:
•
If the ground jumper is open, a DTP2 211 unit
cannot
remotely power the other
unit, because of ground potential differences. Each unit requires a local power
supply.

If the 48 VDC remote power jumper is off, DTP2 211 unit
cannot
remotely power
the other unit. Each unit requires a local power supply.
