Reference Information
This section provides procedures for mounting the DTP2 211 transmitter and receiver and
disconnecting the ground between them.

Avoid ground potential differences between the transmitter and receiver
installation sites, which can lead to
equipment damage or a missing or
unstable picture. If a potential difference cannot be avoided, remove the ground
connection between the units and locally power both units (see
Internal
Settings on page 32).

The 1‑inch high, quarter rack width, 6‑inches deep transmitter and receiver can be placed
on a table, mounted in a rack, or mounted under a desk or table. The receiver can also be
mounted on a projector bracket.
Tabletop Mounting
Attach the provided rubber feet to the bottom four corners of the enclosure.
Mounting Kits
Mount the unit using the optional compatible mounting kit listed on the Extron website , in
accordance with the directions included with the kit. The devices are compatible with the
Extron Half Rack shelf system HRB
109, Extron UTS under the table shelf system, Extron
rack shelves RSU 126, and MBU 125 under the table shelf brackets.
