1. Place XP750 on microscope stage (refer to
section 4
2. Connect XP750 to XR2100 and turn on (refer to
section 4
).
3. Adjust microscope settings as desired.
4. Locate the data cell corresponding to those parameters.
5. When the power reading stabilizes on the XR2100 display, double click the
appropriate cell in the data table. The power reading will automatically be entered
into the table. (Note: if using the auto-fill option for intensity levels, row 1 will be
0%.).
6. Change microscope settings and repeat steps
complete.
7. If a value is put into the wrong cell, it can be overwritten by double-clicking again.
8. To clear data from entire table, click on pull-
down menu ”

select
‘Clear Captures’
.
Acquiring Power Snapshot Data
– Auto-Capture Method
Note:
The Auto-Capture feature functions only if an X-Cite
®
exacte
is turned on and
connected to the computer via USB.
1.
Set up data table with appropriate wavelength, magnification and “auto-fill”
intensity increments (see
“Data Table Set-up”
)
.
Only these predefined options
will be available for selection in Auto-Capture mode.
2. To start Auto-Capture with X-Cite
®

down menu ”
Power
Snapshot
” select X-Cite
®
exacte
auto capture.
3. Select the current magnification and wavelength settings on the microscope, and
click OK to initiate the capture.
4. Change settings on microscope and repeat step
complete.
5. To clear data from entire table, click on pull-
down menu ”
Power Snapshot
”
select
‘Clear Captures’
.
Exporting Logged Data;
1. Click on the ‘
File
’ pull-down menu.
2. From the drop down menu, choose “
Save Power Snapshot As…”
3. Give the file a name, click
SAVE
- data will be saved in Comma Separated Values
(.csv) format, which can be opened in MS Excel®.
WARNING
:
Once data has been entered into the table, modifying the objective or wavelength
column/axis labels will clear the entire Power Snapshot. Please ensure all labels are
correct before beginning, and
SAVE
the data before attempting to change labels.
Labels can be adjusted when data is exported to spreadsheet format if necessary.
