Replacing the Cover 

Replacing the cover involves the same steps, in opposite order, as removing the cover.

If present, lower the Zigbee or Remote RF antenna so they can protrude from the cover. Push out the black plastic 
cap currently in the cover’s antenna access hole (Figure 13

2.

 

Put the cover back (Figure 13) by aligning it with the J1772 connector. Carefully raise the cover and orient the J1722 
connector through the cover’s square cutout. Ensure any optional antenna is protruding through its clearance hole. 

3.

 

Press firmly to attach the cover to the Velcro strip to temporarily hold the cover in place. 

4.

 

Threading by hand, replace the four cover screws and washers removed earlier (Figure 13A). Finish tightening with a 
screwdriver. Do not overtighten with power tools.

If using either antenna option, slide the plastic plug over the antenna and snap it back into the cover.
