Mechanical Installation of EVSE Unit
CAUTION:
The EVSE Unit weighs 42 pounds and must be installed by properly trained professionals to avoid
injury or damage to the unit.

1.
Install the four spring nuts (8B) into the Unistrut (2 per Unistrut), positioning them to line
up with the four holes on the 3722’s mounting plate (Figures 2 and 8A).

Using the four ¼ x 1 inch bolts, along with the 4 CMI-supplied sealing gasket cup washers,
insert two (2) through both the front and rear holes of the ceiling mounting plate and into
the spring nuts in the Unistruts. Secure all four bolts.
3.
Lift the 3722 main assembly plate into a position level with the ceiling and slide into the
ceiling mount, ensuring the AC disconnect is towards the back and the J1772 charger
connector is in the front.
4.
Reinstall the four screws removed earlier to lock the 3722 main assembly plate to the ceiling mounting plate (Figure
8A).

those installation guides for wiring instructions.
