Wiring the EVSE for Serial Communication
Follow these steps for setting up serial communication between the EVSE and a
Payment/Gateway Module. This assumes the serial cable from the Payment
Module has already been piped and inserted through the rear access hole on the
3722 (Figure 7B).
1.
Remove the two front screws on the EVSE holding the Data Router Swing plate (Figures 10
and 11). Loosen the two back screws and lower the plate.
2.
Attach each individual wire of the Payment Module serial cable to its corresponding, pre-
wired counterpart in the 7-position Euro-Block (Figure 12).

Lift the housing plate back up into the EVSE, install the two screws removed earlier and tighten all four screws.
4.
Turn the Power Disconnect Switch (Figure 9) to ON.
5.
Replace the EVSE service cover by following the instructions on Page 17.
