INPUT / OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
PGM IN:
Accepts a 10-bit serial digital video signal (SDI) compatible with SMPTE 259M,
SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 425M. The module can be set to receive a specific
video standard or set to automatically detect the supplied input video standard.
PGM IN or FIBER IN can be selected for subsequent video processing.
FIBER IN:
Accepts a 10-bit SDI compatible with SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE
425M. The module can be set to receive a specific video standard or set to
automatically detect the supplied input video standard. PGM IN or FIBER IN can
be selected for subsequent video processing.
COAX OUT (1-6):
These BNC connectors are used to output 10-bit SDI compatible with SMPTE
292M, SMPTE 259M or SMPTE 425M.
FIBER OUT (1-4):
These fiber connectors are used to output 10-bit SDI video compatible with
SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M or SMPTE 425M.
DA OUT (1-2):
These BNC connectors are used to output reclocked 10-bit SDI input video
compatible with SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M or SMPTE 425M.
REF IN:
This BNC is for connecting a bi-level or tri-level reference. Reference format is
auto-detected by the module. Reference may also be supplied via the 7700FR-
G and 7800FR FRAME REFERENCE inputs. User can select the reference
source to be either the card’s external reference or one of the FRAME
REFERENCE BNC.
