6.48.1.5. Compander Release Time
The
Compander Release Time
control defines how quickly the compander reacts to a decrease in the
input loudness. The
Compander Release Time
should be larger than or equal to the
Compander Attack
Time
. The
Compander Release Time
can be set to any value from 10 ms to 2000 ms (2 sec.).
6.48.1.6. Detected Program Config Status
The
Detected Program Config Status
window is used to monitor the type of program in use.
6.48.1.7. Input Loudness Mode
The
Input Loudness Mode
control defines the window that will be used to produce the
Input Loudness
values.
A
Momentary
selection defines a moving window of 400 ms. A
Short Term
selection defines a moving
window of 3 s.
6.49. INTELLIGAIN MIXER TAB
As shown in Figure 6-53, there are sixteen individual Output Channel Mixers for the Intelligain Mixer in the
7812UDXD series modules. These Output Channel mixers perform audio inversion, audio gain
adjustment and audio channel swapping for each of the 16 output audio channels. Using the X and Y
inputs of each Output Channel Mixer an additional level of mono-mixing is also available for each channel
of output audio.
For the sake of brevity, only the
Audio Proc Ch1-Ch4
control tab will be discussed in this manual. Control
radial buttons for Channel 5-8, Channel 9-12, and Channel 13-16 are identical in their operation. The
controls for Channel 1 will be described in detail, as the controls for Channel 2, Channel 3 and Channel 4
operate in an identical fashion.
