Once the Transmitter unit is properly installed follow the steps below for the first time operation.
•
Turn on “Main Supply” switch of the Transmitter unit. Three phase monitor LEDS of each Block
should switch on showing three phases presence.
•
Turn on “Internal Single Phase” switch of the Transmitter unit. This switch provides power supply to
230V a.c. internal modules of the Transmitter unit (Exciters, Transmitter Supervisor & Controller,
internal cooling blowers).
•
Turn on “Amplifier” switches of the Transmitter unit. These switches provide power supply to amplifier
modules of the Transmitter unit. Each amplifier has its own switch so each amplifier module can be
turned off individually.
•
Turn on the “On/Off” switch on the front panel of each Exciter.
Now the Transmitter unit is completely switched on. The display of each module should be operating.
•
Make sure there are no alarm status for the Transmitter unit.
•
Check that exciter modules are set in “Local” mode and in “Off” status.
Now is possible to enable R.F. output power from the Transmitter unit.
•
Enable R.F. output power of the Transmitter unit by means of “TX On” command on Transmitter
Supervisor & Controller unit.
