With reference to the general blocks diagram shown in Figure 3, the output signal from the Exciter
reaches the input low power divider which splits the drive signal into three components. This system
incorporates a step attenuator and a step phase shifter to balance the slight gain and phase
differences of R.F. Amplifiers. The resultant signals drive the three

nominal level of 2kWrms.
