•
The series ETLU4G03 TV Transmitter provides linear, class “AB” amplification of R.F. TV signal in
the standard UHF bands IV & V (470 to 860MHz).
•
ETLU4G03 is designed to work both in DTV mode and ATV mode.
•
Rated R.F. output power is set to 2kW (rms) for DTV mode and 5kW peak sync for ATV mode.
•
The use of high efficiency, high power gain LDMOS power transistors allows to obtain highly
efficient amplifier modules as ETL0474G.
•
The ETLU4G03 is air-cooled. Air cooling system includes three internal blowers placed behind the
front panel of each ETL0474G amplifier module. An additional large diameter fan placed on the
roof of the transmitter extracts the hot air from the transmitter rack. In this way a high redundancy of
the cooling system is obtained.

The main transmitter components are:

transmitter rack with built in isolation mains transformer and power distribution,

dual drive exciter with changeover or single drive exciter,
⇒
power splitters,
⇒
R.F. amplifier modules,
⇒
power combiner,
⇒
output band-pass filter or external combiner both as an option.
•
The exciter modulates the analog video and audio signals or digital MPEG-2 ASI data inputs onto
the set channel frequency, providing pre-correction circuit that ensures linear transmission with the
minimum intermodulation products.
•
The power splitters distributes the output power of the exciter to the R.F. amplifier modules.
The R.F. broad band amplifier modules provide linear, class “AB” amplification of composite
Sound TV signals, and are compatible with digital TV standards DVB-T/H, DVB-T2, ATSC.
•
A power combiner combines the output power of the R.F. amplifier modules to the total transmitter
output power.
•
A band-Pass filter (option) is installed before the output directional coupler for the suppression of the
out of band interferences.
