FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
7.1
REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS
If some of the components need to be replaced, a careful assessment must be made of the operations to be carried out. Normally, on advanced
technological machines, and to guarantee the necessary safety criteria, it is necessary to use specific expertise with an in-depth knowledge of
the material handled.
You should always contact highly qualified, authorised members of staff for the various aspects: mechanical maintenance technicians for the
hydraulics; refrigerator technicians for the refrigerant circuit; electrical maintenance technicians for the electrical equipment. In any case, it is
always essential to know the functional logics of the system and, more specifically, the equipment.
The Manufacturer has a network of support centres authorised to operate on the equipment; they can be contacted directly in the event of
doubts.
You are advised to use original spare parts to guarantee complete interchangeability. The Manufacturer provides a list of spare parts for all
of the equipment supplied.
7.2
REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT
Replacing all of the equipment presupposes a project and an in-depth study as in the initial installation phase. Besides this, it is necessary to
assess that the use requirements have not changed and that the installation perimeter can be guaranteed again for the machine work with the
same previous criteria.
If several years have passed since the first supply, it is worth checking that the Manufacturing Company still has the unit in its production
programme and which changes/improvements have been carried out in terms of mechanics, hydraulics, refrigeration, electrics and electronics.
Finally, it is also important to check the current regulations at the time of the replacement, ensuring maximum compliance of the operation
being carried out.
You are advised to assign the design for the replacement of the equipment to specialised technical personnel authorised to operate in field
of plant engineering.
7.3
DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL
Various circumstances may lead to the equipment needing to be decommissioned and it is necessary to act accordingly for each one, in keeping
with the specific regulations and provisions. We can sum up as follows in more detail:
•
Decommissioning resulting from discontinued business
•
Decommissioning resulting from modified operating conditions
•
Decommissioning resulting from obsolescence and replacement (subject already dealt with in the previous paragraph)
In this manual, it is impossible to deal with all of the causes that could lead to the listed situations, but we feel duty bound to advise you to
contact a professional for each specific case and for the most suitable solution.
In any case, the equipment contains various components, which cannot be disposed of in the atmosphere and which must be recovered and
disposed of appropriately. The Manufacturer has a network of support centres that can carry out this activity, in keeping with legislation. For
further information contact them directly.
Refrigerant
The refrigerant in the circuit must be collected in special containers and disposed of at authorised
sites.
Lubricating oil
The compressor lubricating oil that circulates in the refrigerant pipes, together with the
refrigerant, must be collected in special containers and disposed of at authorised sites.
