30. Changing batteries
• Change the batteries of the outdoor sensor as soon as the symbol appears in the upper
left of the display.
• If you have more than one outdoor sensor, repeatedly press the C button to check
which outdoor sensor requires new batteries.
31. Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
The weather station shows only bars instead
of the outdoor temperature/humidity.
Initiate a signal search, see chapter 13.
Reduce the distance between the weather
station and the outdoor sensor.
Change the batteries of the outdoor sensor.
Make sure that no obstacles or sources
of interference are interfering with radio
reception.
Outdoor temperature during the day too
high.
Attach the outdoor sensor to a shady wall
facing north.
32. Range
The transmission range of the radio signals between the outdoor sensor and weather station
does not exceed 30 m under ideal conditions.
This value, however, is the so-called “open space range” (the range when the
transmitter and receiver are in line of sight, without any interference).
In practice, however, there may be walls, ceilings and other obstacles between the
transmitter and the receiver, which will reduce the range accordingly.
