12. REPLACING THE BATTERIES
a) Basis Station
The batteries must be replaced when the display contrast is very weak or the display
almost disappears when the display lighting is activated.
Replace the batteries with a new set according to chapter 9. b).

In the case of a change of battery, all settings are lost.
b) Outdoor Sensor
When the batteries in the outdoor sensor are wear, the icon " " is displayed at the
right of the outdoor temperature display; if the batteries are empty, only dashes are
displayed instead of the outdoor temperature.
When changing the batteries, proceed as described in chapter 9.).

If the basis station no longer finds the outdoor sensor, briefly press the button
"RESET" (11) on the rear of the basis station or remove the batteries from the
basis station briefly.
The basis station then searches for the outdoor sensor for a duration of 5
minutes and then for the DCF signal (see chapter 9.b).
