14. Replacing the batteries in the outdoor sensor
The LED indicator (3) on the base station turns orange when the batteries are nearly empty. Replace the batteries to
ensure that the sensor continues to send measurements to the base station.
If the base station does not receive measurements for more than 48 hours, the LED indicator (3) will turn off.
Follow the steps below to replace the batteries:
• Open the battery compartment on the outdoor sensor and remove the old batteries. Dispose of the batteries in an
environmentally friendly manner. Insert the new batteries in the correct polarity (observe the plus/+ and minus/-
symbols), and then replace the battery compartment cover.
• The base station should automatically detect the outdoor sensor. If the outdoor sensor is not detected (the LED
indicator (3) does not turn blue), press the Wi-Fi/sensor button (1) to start a manual search.
If the base station still doesn’t detect the sensor, press the reset button (16) on the outdoor sensor and search for
the sensor again.
