Motor speed while using remote
When using the remote control, speed of motor movement is dependent upon what type of
motors are selected and, potentially, the position of the speed slider.
With fixed speed motors selected:
If any fixed speed motors are selected, all selected motors, whether fixed or variable speed, will
move at the fixed speed rate of 30 fpm.
With only
variable speed motors selected
When only variable speed motors have been selected, they will move at a speed relevant to the
position of the speed slider on the control station ranging from 5-180 fpm (
Speed During Motor Movement” on page 13.
Up
To move the motor in an upward direction, press and hold the blue button depicting the “Up”
arrow (

When the motor reaches the desired position, release the blue button and the motor will stop.
Down
To move the motor downward, press and hold the green button depicting the “Down” arrow (
).
When the motor reaches the desired position, release the green button and the motor will stop.
Emergency Stop (E-Stop)
In the event that you must stop the motor’s movement in an emergency, press the red
emergency stop button fully. This will stop all movement of all motors. The E-stop button will
lock in the pressed position once it is pressed. Motor movement will be prohibited as long as
the stop button remains in the locked position.
To unlock the stop button, rotate the top portion of the button in the direction indicated by the
arrows. Once the button is released, you must return to the control station to cycle power by
turning the “POWER” keyswitch to [OFF] and then back to [ON].
This will allow the motor and remote to operate normally again.
