Installation of Operator
The operator base plate and articulated arm are designed either for right - handed or left - handed
installation. There is no pre - determined designation.
A
1) On a piece of cardboard, create a template. From a
corner of the cardboard, measure your A measurement.
Cut at that point and back to the corner.
2) On the same piece of cardboard, 90 degrees from the
first measurement, mark and cut your
B measurement.

3) Use the template to find the correct setback for your
motor. The measurement goes from the hinge of the
gate to the drive shaft of the motor.
4) Check to make sure you have clearance for your motor
from the face of the column. You must have at minimum
of 7 inches from the face of the column to the drive shaft
of the motor.
