HVAC System Hand-Off-Automatic Operation
The module switches are used to activate control fans, dampers etc.
Typically, the center switch position is the normal state, or automatic
operational position, with the HVAC system using its normal control
cycle. The center switch position is automatically indicated by the
illuminated green LED. The top switch position is typically programmed
to force the device on via a control module or zone. The lower switch
position is programmed to force the device off, again using a control
module or zone. The adjacent upper and lower LEDs are used to indicate
a device status and are activated by status zones connected to vane or
limit switches, contractor status switches, etc.
