4.3 Terminal Interface
Terminal software, such as HyperTerminal, is used as the user interface with the relay. A short
description of the terminal user interface configuration to connect to a relay is given below.
The following software needs to be installed before connecting USB link (assume USB driver has
already been set up, see
) to the relay:

Terminal Software such as HyperTerminal

F-PRO Offliner
In the terminal software, establish a serial link with the relay. For example, using Hyperterminal,
do the following:

Choose Communication > Direct Serial Link. -> Select the appropriate Com port

Select baud rate (115200) and leave all the other settings in the terminal as default.

Apply the settings and connect the terminal.
HyperTerminal will communicate with the F-PRO-116.
After connecting the HyperTerminal, enter any key in the keyboard.
The following
Enter the USERNAME
screen will appear as shown below:
Enter the
username “
fpro
”, the terminal automatically moves to the next step.
