Intended use
The bipolar LAP forceps are intended for coagulation in the case
of laparoscopic procedures.
The bipolar LAP scissors are intended for the mechanical sepa-
ration of tissue with simultaneous bipolar coagulation of the cut
edges in the case of laparoscopic procedures.

Normal use
This product is developed for connection to the bipolar output of
HF generators for use with COAG modes. A power output of 60 W
in bipolar mode must not be exceeded.
The product is used with the following devices:
• Erbe ICC
• Erbe VIO
With Erbe VIO the BIPOLAR FORCED COAG mode must not be
used because the instrument can be damaged due to the high
peak voltage.
