Paper Feed Adjust
Block Pattern
Crosshairs
Value
Lets you adjust the paper feed if you are
unable to resolve banding issues even
after head cleaning and alignment.
Block Pattern
: prints a series of two
patterns that you can use to adjust the
paper feed. Lift the cover to view the first
pattern, then close the cover and follow
the steps on the LCD screen.
Crosshairs
: prints an adjustment
pattern with multiple crosshairs.
Measure the distance between these
crosshairs and enter the measured
distance to adjust the paper feed.
Value
: lets you choose an adjustment
between
–0.70
and
+0.70%
. Select a
higher value to reduce dark bands or a
lower value to reduce white bands.
Paper Suction
–4
to
+3
Lets you adjust the suction to increase
the gap between the print head and thin
or soft paper. If print quality is reduced
or media does not feed correctly, you
may need to lower the suction.
Drying Time Per Pass
0 seconds
to
10 seconds
Lets you adjust the amount of time the
head pauses between each pass. If the
image is blurring on the paper, you may
need to increase the drying time per
pass.
Roll Paper Tension

Lets you adjust the paper tension.

Remove Skew

Lets you enable paper skew reduction.
Paper Feed Stabilizer

Automatically detects and corrects any
paper skew. Disable this setting when
using any transparent or colored media.
