Solving Problems
For the fastest printing, try these
tips:
■
Select
Draft
as the Quality Type
(Windows) or set the
Quality/Speed slider to
Speed
(Macintosh).
■
In the Advanced window, turn
MicroWeave
®
off (Macintosh
only) and turn
High Speed
on.
Your memory card does not work
correctly.
■
Make sure the card’s capacity is
512MB or less and it only
contains photos taken with a
DCF-compliant digital camera.
■
Make sure you follow the
instructions on the Start Here
sheet to install PhotoStarter and
CardMonitor. (You won’t have
these utilities if you’re using
Windows XP.)
■
Check your PhotoStarter
settings. See page 10 for
instructions.
■
If you access the card from your
computer and delete files, the
card may not work correctly
with your camera. Always delete
pictures using your camera.
The optional preview monitor
and control panel respond too
slowly.
When you have lots of photos or
large files on your memory card, it
takes longer for the preview monitor
to process them. This causes the
monitor and control panel to
respond more slowly. Try deleting
any photos you don’t need before
you remove the card from your
camera.
