Replacing Paper
This section describes how to replace paper. The
procedure is displayed on the control panel screen.
Follow these instructions.
Buttons that are used in the following settings
A
Confirm that the printer is ready and press the
(
button.
The Load/Remove Paper menu will be displayed.

Press the

buttons to select roll paper, and
then press the
Z
button.
Note:
To perform
Roll Paper Remaining
, you must enter
the length of the roll paper when the roll paper is set.
In order to perform accurate remaining roll paper
management, we recommend opening the
.
tab
and recording the amount of roll paper remaining
when you replace the roll paper.

The roll rewinds automatically.
Note:
When the display shows
Turn roll paper adapter
to wind up roll paper
, rewind the paper by hand.

Follow the on-screen instructions to load the roll
paper for the next job.
Before Printing
Before printing, set the paper settings for the
characteristics of the paper you are going to use. Settings
are adjusted as follows.

Select
Custom Paper Setting
in the printer Paper
menu.

EPSON LFP Remote Panel 2 can be used to copy
from the computer the paper settings you
configured in the printer settings menu.
Note:

Be sure to check the paper characteristics such as
paper tension, ink fixating, or paper thickness before
setting the custom paper. For the paper's
characteristics, check the paper's documentation or
with your local dealer.

Test the print quality with this printer before
purchasing a large amount of paper.
Saving the Optimal Paper
Settings (Print Paper
Settings)
You can configure and save a range of paper setting
items based on the characteristics of the paper you
intend to use for printing.
You can save the settings for paper you use often to
easily switch between multiple different groups of
settings.
You can save up to 10 groups of paper settings.
This section describes the settings you can configure
and how to save them.
