Removing the Foot Adjuster Unit
Prerequisite condition: The step explained in Subsections 3.2.1, 3.2.4, 3.2.10, and
3.2.11 must have been completed.

1. Turn the foot adjuster counterclockwise about 40 times to remove it.
2. While pressing the foot lever, pull the foot axis upward to remove it.
3. Slide the upper side (foot lever side) of the compression spring to remove it.
4. Remove the foot lever pin then remove the foot lever
Caution:
When installing or removing the foot adjuster unit, do not fold or peel the foot seal on
the lower case.
When installing the foot adjuster unit, set the foot lever then replace the counter spring
and finally insert the foot axis.
When the installing has been completed, press the foot lever to check whether it makes
any strange noise, If it makes the noise, adjust the compression spring to change its
contact point with the foot lever for eliminating the noise.
