absorber and its roughness creates a turbulent flow of air which results in increased efficiency.
2.4 Insulation
Very little insulation is needed with the Luba
GL collector system. The only insulation is at the
bottom and top of the collector where no fresh air is admitted. The insulation used is a 25 mm (1”)
rigid polystyrene board.
