Maintenance and warranty
6.1 Cleaning the absorber
In most cases, rainfall should be sufficient to clean the absorber. If however there was an
abnormal local accumulation of dust, leaves or other debris, an operator should manually clean
the absorber with a wet sponge.
6.2 Availability of parts
Every part of the Luba
GL collector system is available from Enerconcept’s authorized
manufacturer/distributor.
6.3 Replacement parts
In the unlikely event that the collectors should become damaged by major climatic conditions or
during installation, Enerconcept Technologies keeps a sufficient amount of parts to be able to
replace any part within the week following a claim.
6.4 10 year Warranty
The entire Luba
GL collector system is designed without mobile parts in order to facilitate
assembly. The life expectancy of the product is 25 years. Each part of the collector is made of
steel except for the polycarbonate glazing and the felt absorber. However, in the unlikely case
that one of the system’s components should fail, the manufacturer’s warranty on all parts and
components provided by Enerconcept Technologies is of ten (10) year after the official start
date.
The warranty on parts covers the complete replacement of the following components:
•
The absorber (discoloration and tearing);
•
The glazing (discoloration and tearing);
•
The casing (corrosion);
•
The support structure (if supplied by Enerconcept Technologies Inc.).
The warranty excludes:
•
All installed components other than those on the previous list;
•
The treated lumber sleepers for the collector supports;
•
Labor required to replace the components.
Enerconcept is not responsible for damages caused by a non standard system installation.
