Safety instructions / maintenance
• Before connecting and switching on the unit, please read the safety instructions and operating instructions.
• Keep the operating instructions in a safe place for later use.
• Never cover the ventilation slits.
• The unit should only be used in closed areas and is to be protected against penetration of water and moisture.
• However, if moisture does penetrate, do not switch the unit on under these conditions. Call in qualified servicing personnel to check the unit.
• The housing should only be opened by authorised persons. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified service personnel.
• The power must be switched off before opening the unit.
• The unit should only be operated at temperatures between 0 and +50°C and in relative humidity up to a maximum of 90%.
• Never insert metallic or other objects through the ventilation slits as this could permanently damage the unit.
• The unit should be protected from excessive heat, dust, moisture, electrostatic charge and vibration.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the unit.
• When laying the connecting cable, please ensure that there is no weight on it, that it is not bent or damaged and no moisture can penetrate.
• A mild detergent should be used for cleaning the unit housing. Never use diluting agents or petrol. This can permanently damage the surface.
• Only use original parts from Videor Technical GmbH.
