1. Plug in the consumer and switch on.

If an insulation fault exists and the unit was previously
OK when tested without a consumer connected up to it
(see insulation monitor ing above), then the insulation
fault has been caused by the consumer.
2. The reset button
(see Fig. 5-3-(1))
must be pressed after
switching off and disconnecting the consumer so that the
unit can be used again.
5.3.2 Insulation monitoring plus switching off
The follow ing requirements must be fulfilled:

Generator has been started (see 0)
1. Unplug the consumer
2. The circuit breaker must be in Pos. 1.
3. Press the test button
(see Fig. 5-3-(2))
The displayed symbol
(see Fig. 5-2-(8))
and the position of
the circuit breaker indicate the result:

test has been completed and the generator must be
restarted so that it can be used again.
