PREPARING SETUP DATA
To measure the tilt meter output with EDI-53ELV any one channel has to be setup using GF &IR
(provided in test certificates) as described below. This channel can then be used to measure the
output of that EAN-31ELV tilt meter.
1.
Ch No.
Enter the channel number (i.e. transducer number) that you want to
assign to the EL tilt meter for taking readings.
2.
Units
Press Key ‘9’ when prompted for ‘Units’, to select ‘blank’.
3.
Initial Reading
Enter the value as provided in test certificate when prompted for ‘IR’
4.
Gauge Factor
Enter the value as provided in test certificate when prompted for ‘GF’
5.
Coefficient X²
This value should be left at zero
6.
Decimal Point ‘DP’
Press key ‘1…4’ (as desired) when prompted for DP, to see the
mm/m value up to required significant decimal places.

INTERFACING TO A COMPUTER OR PRINTER
The interface cable consists of a 10-pin circular connector at one end for connecting to the indicator
and a 9-pin D-shell connector at the other end for connecting to pc.
