method of signaling that it is ready to accept data for printing. Just check your printer manual.
If your printer is ready press ‘ENTER’. Display will show
SENDING DATA
This message will remain on display as long as the indicator is sending data to the printer. This time
depends on the amount of data to be printed and can be very long if the data memory is nearly full (more
than 6700 readings). As soon as the complete data has been transferred to the printer (but not
necessarily printed) the display will flash
* DONE *
and revert back to normal measurement mode.
The indicator sends formatted data to the printer for print out. A typical example of data printout is shown
below. You will find that the data is first sorted on ‘channel number’ and then on ‘date’ and ‘time’. This
makes it easier to find the data corresponding to a particular channel arranged chronologically, earliest
first.
