2.1   Care and dangers

Before starting the air conditioner, read the information given in the User’s

Guide carefully. The User’s Guide contains very important observations

relating to the assembly, operation and maintenance of the air conditioner.

The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damages that may

arise due to non-observation of the following instruction.

After reading this manual, be sure to read it to people who use the unit.

The user must keep this manual close at hand and must deliver it to those 

who carry out the repairs or who are moving the unit. Furthermore, in the 

case where there is a change of ownership, make available the manual 

for the new user. Be sure to strictly observe the following important Sa-

fety Warnings.

Do not install the air conditioner in rooms where gas leakages or 

other flammable substances could occur near the units.

Maintenance operations must be carried out exclusively by quali-

fied technicians.

Do not use the emergency button with wet hands.

Do not place flower vases or water containers on the unit.

Verify the air conditioner’s wall attachments firmness. 

Do not place objects or stand on the unit.

Do not direct the air flow directly on individuals, plants or animals.

This appliance is not intended for use persons ( including children ) with reduded physical swnsory or mental capabilities, or lack of expe-

rience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervisor or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

let the room  temperature decrease too low either.  Otherwise the
