The operating pressure of the system must not exceed 1.5
bar with the pump off.
Check on the pressure gauge of the primary circuit that
the water pre-charge pressure is 1.5 bar +/- 0.5 bar
Check for leaks of the system.
If the pressure of 3 bar is exceeded, the safety valve
inside THE MIRAI SMI heat pump opens and discharges
the excess water.
Once the electrical connections have been completed
and the heat pump/system circulator has been activated,
check that it is free of any abnormal bubbles / noise (cau-
sed by air residues). If this happens, the pump must be
stopped several times and vented again.
Once the electrical connections have been completed and
the circulator activated, check that the water flow meter
on the primary side rotates regularly
The use of gas and water pipes to earth the appliance is
forbidden.
For the correct operation of THE MIRAI SMI heat pump, a
minimum flow of water must be ensured in the same:
- For MIRAI SMI EH0618DC, EH1018DC models
greater than 600 l/h
- For MIRAI SMI EH1218DC, EH1618DC,
EH1718D3 greater than 900 l/h
The maximum permissible load losses of the system must
be compatible with the residual useful prevalences of the
pump present on the system.
Note:
The differential by-pass valve
K
opens when the
pressure delta between delivery and return of the system
is greater than 0.6 bar (valve fully screwed).
Calibration range: 0.1÷0.6 bar

CHECK OF INSTALLATION COMPONENTS
As each component is tested, put a check in
Are the conditions for selecting the installation site met?
Does the voltage of the power supply correspond to the spe-
cified voltage?
Are the connecting cables securely connected?
Are the grounding cables connected securely?
Are the equipment and the connecting sections of the main
pipes free of circulating water leaks?
Are the connecting sections of the pipes thermally insulated?
INIZIAL COMMISSIONING
Once the hydraulic and electrical connections have been com-
pleted and the installation components have been checked,
power the unit electrically. After starting, check that:
Does the water circulate regularly in the system and is the
minimum flow guaranteed?
Are the equipment and the connecting sections of the main
pipes free of circulating water leaks?
Is the hydraulic circuit completely deaerated?
Is the system free of abnormal noises?
Does the primary side water flow meter turn regularly?
The device operates within the indicated working range
(see chapter 2 "Technical data")?
