Hydraulic connections
Before connecting the pipes, make sure that they do not
contain stones, sand, rust, slag or any other foreign bodies
that could obstruct and do not guarantee the correct flow
in the system.
The connecting pipes must be supported so as not to bur-
den the appliance with their weight.
The water distribution pipes must be adequately insulated
with expanded polyethylene or similar materials with a
thickness of at least 13 mm. Shut-off valves, bends and
various connections must also be adequately insulated.
If the inertial accumulation is NOT connected to the
MIRAI-SMI Heat Pump, it is mandatory to install a safety
valve (2.5 bar) in the primary circuit in order to prevent
overpressure damage.
The safety valve on heat accumulation
N
( Fig.1) opens and discharges the excess water outside if
the pressure of 6 bar is exceeded.
The discharge of the safety valve must be properly con-
veyed and connected to an exhaust pipe.
If the valve intervenes, the jet of water does not con-
stitute a danger to people and/or electrical equipment
and the surrounding environment.
Be careful not to reverse discharges and returns.
Make the hydraulic connections of the system, following
the water inputs and outputs, as indicated in the template.
Move the unit closer to the wall (Fig.2), in correspondence
with the template, and complete the connections by tighte-
ning the pipe nuts.
Seat arrangement for insertion of water drainage pipe
(not included) to be connected to the drainage of the
DHW accumulation safety valve.
