flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Turn off the switch and disconnect the
appliance from the mains supply when
not in use and before cleaning (discon-
nect the power cord from the wall sock-
et).
• Only use the appliance with recom-
mended accessories.
• Do not immerse the power cord, plug
or appliance in water or any other liquid
(risk of fire, electric shock and injury).
• Make sure the power cord does not
hang over the edge of a table or
worktop or come into contact with hot
surfaces.
• This appliance may only be used
indoors.
• This appliance is solely intended for
domestic use (not for commercial or
outdoor use).
• Make sure your hands are not damp
or wet before disconnecting the plug
from the wall socket. Hold the plug when
disconnecting the power cord from the
wall socket (do not hold the cord).
• Do not connect the appliance to an
external timer or any type of remote
control device.
• If you use an extension cord, make
sure it has the same electrical rating as
the appliance itself (ensure that the pow-
er cord does not hang over the edge of
a table or worktop or come into contact
with hot surfaces).
