FIRST USE OF THE CORDLESS WARMING TRAY
Unpack the cordless warming tray and remove all packaging material.
Before first use, clean the warming plate with a damp cloth and then wipe with a dry cloth.
The cordless warming tray is now ready for use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The cordless warming tray heats up to 130 °C in less than 10 minutes (the warming tray stays
heated for 1 hour after being switched off).
The power cord can easily be removed for convenience before placing the warming tray on the
dining table.
• Stand the cordless warming tray on a flat, stable, dry surface.
• Make sure that the cordless warming tray is switched off before connecting the power cord.
Then plug the power cord into a wall socket and switch the appliance on.
• When the appliance is switched on, the red indicator light will come on. After about 10 minutes,
the red indicator light will go off and a green indicator light will come on (this indicates that the
correct temperature has been reached).
• There may be a burning smell the first time the cordless warming tray is used. This is normal
and will only happen the first times the appliance is used.
• Turn off the switch and unplug the power cord from the wall socket when the cordless warming
tray is ready for use. Disconnect the appliance from the power cord (if necessary) and carry it to
the table (hold the handles or use oven gloves).
WARNING!
Take care to avoid contact with any of the metal parts of the cordless warming tray
(always hold the handles or use oven gloves).
• The cordless warming tray stays heated for 1 hour after being switched off.
• The cordless warming tray can be connected for a MAXIMUM of 36 hours during use.
(Switch off the appliance when no food is being heated on it).
The cordless warming tray has a thermostat that keeps the temperature at 120 °C and prevents
overheating. When the temperature drops, the red indicator light comes on briefly (the green
indicator light comes on again when the warming tray reaches 120 °C).
• Place the appliance at a safe distance from the edge of the kitchen worktop/table and make
sure there is no risk of anyone tripping on the power cord.
• Only put heat-resistant food receptacles on the warming plate. Do not drag the receptacles
over the warming plate (they could scratch the brushed stainless steel surface). Take extra care
when handling porcelain dishes.
• Allow the appliance to cool down before moving, cleaning or storing it.
