NOTE!
When a programme ends, the cooker switches automatically to WARM mode for
up to 4 hours unless you turn it off.
NOTE!
Press the stop button to turn the slow cooker off.
Let the unit cool down. Wearing oven gloves, carefully remove the cooking pot and pour
out the water. Rinse the cooking pot and dry it carefully before placing it back in the
base unit.
CARE OF THE COOKING POT
Like all ceramic goods, the cooking pot may crack if it is not handled correctly.
Handle it with care!
WARNING!
If you do not follow these instructions it may result in damage to the prod-
uct, which in turn could lead to injury or property damage.
• Always wear oven gloves or the like when you handle hot ceramic goods! If not, it
could lead to burns to your hands or other body parts.
• Do NOT place the cooking pot directly on a worktop, as it may mark or scorch the
worktop. Use a pan trivet.
• Do NOT place the cooking pot on a hob, underneath a grill, underneath the browning
element in a microwave oven or in a grill oven, as it is likely to crack.
• Do NOT knock utensils against the rim of the cooking pot to dislodge food, as it will
scratch the pot.
• Do NOT use the cooking pot to pop popcorn, caramelise sugar or make toffee.
• Do NOT use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or any object that will scratch the
cooking pot or accessories.
• Do NOT try to use or repair any pot or lid that is chipped, cracked, or broken.
• Do NOT use the cooking pot to reheat or store food.
• Always place food in the cooking pot at room temperature. Then place the pot in the
base unit and turn it on. Do NOT heat up the cooking pot when it is empty, as it may
crack.
