5. Use the MODE button to select the desired setting (HIGH or LOW) as directed in the
recipe.
NOTE!
Select WARM mode if you want to reheat food or keep it warm.
6. Press the timer button (+) (the timer display will show 0:30, i.e. 30 minutes). Con-
tinue pressing the (+) or (-) button until the desired cooking time is displayed. This
slow cooker can be programmed in 30-minute intervals from 30 minutes to 12 hours
(0:30–12:00). The slow cooker will start to warm up after 5 seconds.
NOTE!
You can adjust the timer setting at any time while the slow cooker is cooking
by pressing the (+) or (-) buttons.
NOTE!
If you select the LOW or HIGH setting without setting a time, the slow cooker
will automatically run for 8 hours (08:00) on LOW, or 4 hours (4:00) on HIGH.
NOTE!
Press the stop button to turn the slow cooker off.
7. On the HIGH and LOW settings the time on the display will count down minute by
minute until the cooking time has elapsed. When the cooking time has elapsed
(00:00), the cooker switches to WARM mode automatically (for 12 hours).

8. To set the warming time manually, press the MODE button until the WARM light
comes on. The default setting for WARM mode is 12 hours (12:00). This
programmable slow cooker switches itself off automatically. The display goes dark.

9. Wearing oven gloves, grasp the knob on the glass lid and lift off the lid.
10. Wait a few seconds for the steam to disperse. Taste the food and check that it is
cooked through. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.

CAUTION:
The base unit of the slow cooker gets very hot during cooking, since it
contains the heating element. To move the slow cooker, use oven gloves and grasp
the slow cooker by the handles. The base unit will remain hot for some time after
cooking has finished and the cooker has been turned off and unplugged. You should
therefore set the slow cooker to one side and leave it to cool down before cleaning it
or putting it away.
11. Unplug the slow cooker from the wall socket. Let it cool down completely before
cleaning it (see instructions for cleaning).
