If a fault should occur, investigate and remedy as set out in the following table.
Symptom
Inspection
The freezer does not work
• Check that the plug is correctly inserted in the power
outlet.
• By connecting another unit, check that the power
outlet is live.
The freezer makes a noise
during operation
• Check that the freezer has been adjusted so that it
is level.
The freezer does not get
cold enough
• If the door has been opened too often, or if it has
been left open for some time, it will take longer for
the freezer to reach its set temperature.

Check whether the air flow to the rear of the freezer
has been reduced owing to insufficient distance to
walls.
If none of the above factors seems to be causing the problem, contact our customer
service department for immediate help.
Troubleshooting
If the freezer is not to be used for some time, do the following:
• Disconnect the freezer from the power supply by pulling the plug out of the power outlet.
• Clean and dry the interior as per the instructions under the heading “Cleaning the
freezer”.
• To prevent unpleasant smells building up while the freezer is not in use, leave the door
open.
