side. If the wind rose is adjusted so that east is at the top, then the points of the
compass conform to one’s own position. This means that east is in front of you,
south is to the right, north to the left and west behind you.

Setting the sunshine threshold level

The set up field enables the brightness threshold to be set above which the light
striking the brightness sensor is to be interpreted as sunshine. This threshold can
be adjusted between 1 and 99 klux and is set in the factory to 20 klux. A value
above the set value is counted as sunshine and is indicated by the little sun symbol
in the main display.
The brightness sensor as far as he is concerned also determines the sunshine
duration related to a fixed threshold of 20 klux. If there is a threshold of 20 klux set
on the base station it takes the value transmitted by the sensor for further calcula-
tion. The advantage is that reception failures do not influence the measured value.
