CLEARING FAULTS AND
MALFUNCTIONS
NOTE
If the signal display or an audible signal tone indicates a fault, the device
may be faulty.
Switch off the device and/or disconnect it from the power.
The operator can carry out the first fault analysis based on the following
table. You can also inform Eloma's customer service department to ask
for help.
If the operator is unable to clear the fault, or if there is a technical fault,
a service technician will need to be informed to carry out fault clearance.

POSSIBLE CAUSES OF FAULT AND REMEDY

The device does not
display a function after
switching on.
The external master
switch has been
switched off.
Switch on the
master switch.
A fuse or circuit breaker
has triggered.
Check the fuses or
circuit breakers in
the building's
distribution.
Ambient temperature of
the device was below +4
°C for a longer period.
Heat the cooking
chamber to 20 °C.
Only operate the
device in rooms
which are protected
from frost.
No steam injection
Water connection is
closed.
Open the water
connection.
The water in the baking
chamber does not drain
off.
Faulty device or steam
injection quantity too
high although set
correctly beforehand.
Reduce the steam
injection quantity.
Inform the
customer service
department.
No light in the baking
chamber
The halogen lamps are
faulty.
Replace the
halogen lamps.
