ELECTRICAL REPAIRS

Safety Recommendations

For safety reasons, please pay special attention to the following recommendations.

Electrical safety for the press is ensured by the use of an earth (grounding)

connection.  Therefore, the press should only be used with a mains lead (extension)
and a wall plug provided with earthing.

In order to guarantee this safety,

it is essential to check the earthing and

insulation before and after any adjustment or repair

.  This must be done with the

electrical cord set supplied with the press.

It is also recommended that the wires always be connected in accordance with the

respective diagrams provided in this manual.  The terminal connectors should hold
firmly to the terminals.

Note that a press has a consumption of about 1000W.  Depending on the voltage,

this represents about:

From 875 W  To 1012 W

At 230 Volts

Needs 5 amps.

From 667 W  To 772   W

At 100 Volts

Needs 8 amps.

From 960 W  To 1112 W

At 120 Volts

Needs 10 amps.

If you intend to plug in several presses at the same time, be sure that the mains can

handle the required amps.  Otherwise, the current will be cut off, either by the fuse or
the circuit breaker.
