HEATING ELEMENTS

ISMANTLING
1. Dismantle the upper handle cover;
see page 4;5.
2. Dismantle the heating shoe; see
page 7.
3. To remove the heating shoe cover,
unscrew the screw (A).
4. Remove the cover by lifting the
backside and pushing it towards
you. This will disengage the 2
fingers located under the cover.
5. Dismantle the thermo-fuse
(combined thermo-
regulator/thermo-fuse for 120V);
see page 7.
6. Remove all plastic sockets (A) with
a screwdriver.
7. Disconnect all wires.
8.
Unscrew all nuts and change the
heating element.

EASSEMBLING
1. Check the thermo-fuse before remounting.
2. Realign the heating element with the screws attached to the heating shoe. Replace
the nuts, be sure not to tighten them too tight as that may cause the bolts to break
off.
3. Place and fix the thermo-fuse, for 230-240V or the combined thermo-fuse/ regulator.
4. Connect the wires; see photo below.
Continue the reassembling to be made in reverse order.
