- Pairing 1: this function enables coupling
between the cycle computer and the resistance
unit. In this way the cycle computer is able to
communicate with the resistance unit and cor-
rectly receive the data even in the presence of
other training rollers of the same type. To carry
out the coupling, make sure the resistance unit is
correctly powered and that there are no other
powered Cube Digital models in the vicinity. To
carry out the coupling between the cycle compu-
ter and the resistance unit, press the left button.
The speed and cadence fields will now start
flashing. Wait a few seconds for the message
“YES” to appear in case of correct coupling or
“Err” in case of failed coupling. In case of failed
coupling, repeat the procedure. If coupling is still
unsuccessful, follow the instructions described
in the TROUBLESHOOTING section.
- Pairing 2: this function enables coupling
between the cycle computer and the chest strap,
in order to correctly receive the data. To carry out
the coupling, make sure the chest strap is tran-
smitting, then press the left button. The heart-
rate field will now start flashing. Wait a few
seconds for the message “YES” to appear in case
of correct coupling or “Err” in case of failed cou-
pling. In case of failed coupling, repeat the proce-
dure. If coupling is still unsuccessful, follow the
instructions described in the TROUBLESHOOTING
section.
Note: These settings can modified at any time by
accessing the SETUP menu
DELETING DATA
The cycle computer records the data in two separa-
te memories: partial data and total data. This
system allows (for example) the data of the pre-
vious training session to be deleted without dele-
ting the totals of the season.
The cycle computer enables two different ways of
deleting the recorded data.
1. Zero-setting of partial data, carried out through
the RESET function in the main menu. This function
deletes the partial data for average and maximum
speed, average and maximum power, average and
maximum cadence, average and maximum heart-
rate, distance and race time.
After selecting the RESET function, confirmation of
the selected action will be requested. To proceed
with deletion of the data, select “yes” (Y) and con-
firm the selection. The screen with the message
DONE will appear. This message means that the
data has been deleted. If you do not wish to delete
the data, select “N” and press the middle button.
NOTE: This procedure does not delete total average
speed, total average power, total average cadence,
total average heart-rate, odometry and total race time.
2. Reset of odometry and total time, carried out throu-
gh modification of settings from the SETUP menu. For
detailed information, refer to the SETUP section.
Note: By modifying the odometry or the total time,
the total average speed is also modified.
BATTERY
The computer of the Cube Digital uses a CR2032 type
battery. In optimum conditions the battery has a life of
more than 300 hours’ operation and about 2 years in
standby.
When the battery are low and need replacing, the
“change battery” appears on the screen. Replace the
battery.
ATTENTION
•
Put old batteries in the
special containers.
•
Do not disperse in the
environment.
•
If the battery is replaced with one of the
wrong type there will be risk of explosion.
