Placing
RAILSTRAIGHT
on the rail
ATTENTION
After switching on,
RAILSTRAIGHT
carries out a
self-test. If
RAILSTRAIGHT
has contact with a rail
or other metallic surface during this process, the
app cannot connect to
RAILSTRAIGHT
. Do not
place
RAILSTRAIGHT
onto the rail or other metallic
surface before a connection has been made.
NOTE
Observe the rail type information
stamped on the rail in order to set up
RAILSTRAIGHT
for the right type of rail.

With
RAILSTRAIGHT
DUAL the setting for the
rail is not required as the device simultaneously
measures the running surface and running edge.
