INITIAL SYSTEM INSTALLATION
The following procedure should be used for the initial installation of the Trickle
Impregnation System:
1. Uncrate all equipment from the shipping containers and crates. An inspection of the
shipping containers should be made on delivery in accordance with Section 2.
2. Place the Main Machine in the desired location.
3. Adjust the height and level the Main Machine.
4. Locate peripheral equipment such as the Induction Heater and Fire Extinguisher
System in proper places with respect to the Main Machine. Refer to the Layout
Drawing of the system.
5. Level all the peripheral equipment and make all necessary mechanical
connections to attach peripheral equipment to the main machine.
6. Connect the Exhaust System and flanges located above the machine just after the
trickle area and Cure Tunnel.
Adjust all in-line blast gates approximately 1/2 way open. They can be
re-adjusted during operating set-up if needed.
7. Make sure that any remaining antifreeze is drained from the system if required.
NOTE
: the Induction Heater water piping systems on E.T.I. machines that are
shipped during the winter are usually filled with antifreeze to prevent freezing.
Check with E.T.I. to determine if the system was filled with antifreeze.
8. Connect the ½” pipe from the Heat Exchanger to the Customer Tower Water or
