3.2.5 USB 3.0 Connector
The SmartSL offers one USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed USB) port Type A connector on the front
panel. The BIOS default is xHCI (Extensible Host Controller Interface) mode and is
compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB 1.1 and USB 1.0 devices. Legacy USB support
is also provided so that you can use a USB keyboard/mouse in a DOS environment. To
use the USB 3.0 port in a Windows environment, you will need to install the USB 3.0
driver.

Intel USB 3.0 driver does not support Windows XP. In
Windows XP, all USB 3.0 ports will work in USB 2.0
